Excellent manicure, pedicure or waxing in a tranquil environment.
Strengths
- Great service in an intimate, serene environment.
- The NoHo location only has 2 manicure chairs, 2 pedicure chairs and 1 waxing table, so it’s never crowded.
- They frown on cell-yell which keeps things tranquil.
- If you are in the mood to chat, the technicians will make conversation, but if you want to just zone out, they’ll keep quiet.
- Instead of the typical sharper image, pleather massage chairs, they have comfortable asian-inspired chairs with oversized pillows.
- They have a great selection of products.
Shortcomings
- A bit pricey ($18-35 for manicures, $32-60 for pedicures) but worth it. The pedicures last 3 weeks instead of 1, so I’d rather pay 3x more.
Insider tips
- Try one of their signature manicures / pedicures, with names like “Essence of Soul” or “Summer Oasis”.
- A good spot to go with a girlfriend because it's small and quiet enough for you to really dish.
Anecdotes
I love their pedicures. Instead of putting your feet in a mini plastic Jacuzzi circa 1975, they soak them in milk & honey, French lavender, peppermint, or fresh rose petals. They also give great foot massages.
Perfect for
- Girls who want a step up from the generic mani/pedi salons.
Credentials
- Rated Best Pedicure by New York Magazine.
