• The food is excellent; especially the specials and anything with lots of carbs like pancakes, biscuits and muffins (it used to be a bakery). It’s the perfect hangover cure.
• The secret ingredient here has to be love.

Shortcomings

• It’s teeny-tiny and they don’t take reservations, so get here early – especially on Sundays.

Insider tips

• I love the Po Boy of the day (the Oyster Po Boy is the best) and the crab cake sandwiches are delish.
• All the wine here is half price on Tuesdays. Happy Tuesday boozeday!
• Do something different this year...have them bake you a birthday cake.

Anecdotes

• My friend lives right by the restaurant and had baked a birthday cake for a surprise party. On her way out she dropped the cake and was in a panic. Clinton Bakery customized something on the spot for her.
